Submit an Application to Adopt

Thank you for your interest in Ridgebacks In Need, California. We do not always have all current dogs on our web site but we do have a continuous turnover of dogs needing to be rehomed. Our commitment lies with finding the best match between each dog and each adoptive family. We review our list of approved applicants each time a new dog comes into rescue. Our adoption fee is $650.00.

Adoption Application

All dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before placement.

Please note that we require most* adopters to enroll their dog in training classes within three months of adoption. One course of at least six weeks must be completed, with proof of completion provided to RINCAL. (*This requirement may vary depending on the specific dog.)

Please fill out as completely as possible in order to assist us in finding the right dog for your family. We want to get to know you!!

NOTE: In order for your application to be received, you must give an answer to EVERY question! If you leave anything blank, the application will not come through. You may also want to take a screen shot of each page as you go along, in case of any mishap. In the case that you feel a question to be irrelevant (for instance, not all questions are applicable to foster care), please write "n/a.”
